Our menu is based on “French cooking from an outsider’s perspective” as seen by chef Stuart Andrew (who has been with us since the first day Portland opened, and the group began, back in 2015). Our dining room, designed and built from scratch, aims to be an oasis of comfort and a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.
We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

Private Room
For groups looking for a more secluded dining experience, our private room is available. Please click here for more information.
Our menu is based on “French cooking from an outsider’s perspective” as seen by chef Stuart Andrew (who has been with us since the first day Portland opened, and the group began, back in 2015).
We offer an A La Carte menu written each day, the latest version of which can be seen below. At lunch the menu is 3 courses for £59 and at dinner 3 courses for £85.
Downstairs, our private room aims to offer an extension of our restaurant experience in a secluded spot away from the dining room. We offer an a la carte menu so there is no need to decided on anything in advance and all dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notice.
The room comfortably seats up to 12 guests and you will have a dedicated member of our Front of House looking after you throughout.
Our menu begins with welcome snacks sent from the kitchen followed by a choice of first course, main course and dessert from our a la carte menu. The menu is £65 at lunch and £95 at dinner for 3 courses and welcome snacks.
A sample menu is available below but please note this will be written anew on each day so will differ. There is always a pescatarian and vegetarian option available for first and main course.
The room is booked online only through the below link – once you have made your reservation our Head of Guest Relations will be in touch with a confirmation and to introduce themselves should there be anything bespoke you would like to arrange (there is also a text box in the below booking process for any such information).
Wine, as in all our restaurants, is a very important part of what we do. Led by our GM Ashley Best and our Head of Wine Jess Lambie we have put togther a list which celebrates wine in all its diversity and aims to have something for every palate.
We do, however, have a focus on Burgundy which has always been to us the most alluring and storied region in the wine-producing world. Alongside rising stars we work hard to find are unique old vintages which offer our guests an entry point into a different era of winemaking from this special place. Many of these are available by the glass.
